Salvation Army: over $315,000 needed to meet funding goal – WKOW

MADISON (WKOW) — There’s only nine days left in Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, and the organization said Tuesday that they still have a long way to go to meet their donations goal.
According to a news release from Salvation Army spokesperson Taylor Pasell, the charity needs to raise $316,650 to meet their $525,000 funding goal. Pasell said the annual Red Kettle Campaign will need $35,000 per day to meet that goal.
“This campaign is the largest fundraiser of the year, and helps sustain programs provided by The Salvation Army all year-round, including emergency shelter for women and families, emergency disaster services, community center programming, programs that help folks move from homelessness to housing, and much more,” Pasell said in the release.
