Written Recipe:

Red Velvet Cake
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 & ½ Cups
-Cocoa powder 2 tbs
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp
-Doodh (Milk) 1 Cup
-Sirka (Vinegar) 1 tbs
-Makhan (Butter) unsalted ½ Cup (room temperature)
-Cheeni (Sugar) powdered 1 & ½ Cups
-Anday (Eggs) 2
-Vanilla essence 1 tsp
-Red food color (gel) 1 & ½ tsp or Liquid color 3-4 tbs
-Baking soda 1 tsp
-Sirka (Vinegar) 1 tsp
Cream Cheese Frosting:
-Makhan (Butter) unsalted 200 gms (room temperature)
-Icing sugar 1 & ½ Cups
-Vanilla essence 1 tsp
-Cream cheese ¾ Cup

Directions:
-In bowl,place strainer,add all-purpose flour,cocoa powder,salt and sift together,mix well & set aside.
-In jug,add milk,vinegar,mix well and let it rest for few minutes.Butter milk is ready & set aside.
-In bowl,add butter and beat until fluffy.
-Gradually add sugar and beat until well combined.
-Add eggs,one by one and beat well after each edition.
-Add vanilla essence and beat again.
-In butter milk,add red food color and mix well.
-During mixing,add dry flour mixture gradually to the batter,alternating with the buttermilk then dry flour mixture then again butter milk and mixing just until incorporated and a smooth batter is formed.
-Grease 8” inch baking pan with cooking oil and place butter paper.
-In baking soda,add vinegar and mix well and add immediately in cake mixture and mix with the help of the spatula.
-Now pour cake batter into prepared pan.
-Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 35-40 minutes or until the cake pulls away from the side of the pans and a toothpick inserted in the center of the cakes comes out clean.
-Remove the cake from the oven and run a knife around the edges to loosen them from the sides of the pan.
-Transfer the cake to the wire rack and let it cool.
Cream cheese Frosting:
-In bowl,add butter and beat until fluffy.
-Gradually add icing sugar and beat until well combined.
-Add vanilla essence and beat again.
-Add cream cheese and beat until smooth and refrigerate until use.
Assembling:
-With the help of the cake knife,horizontally cut two layers of cake.
-On cake tray,place cake layer and apply frosting.
-Place another cake layer and cover the sides of the cake with cream cheese frosting.
-Decorate & serve.

-Jug mein doodh aur sirka dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein aur few minutes kliya chor dein.Butter milk tayyar hai & side per rakh dein.
-Bowl mein makhan dal dein aur fluffy hunay tak beat ker lein.
-Thora thora ker ka cheeni shamil karein aur beat kertay jayein.
-Ek,ek ker ka anday dal dein aur ache tarhan beat ker lein.
-Vanilla essence dal ker dubara beat ker lein.
-Butter milk mein red food color dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
-Mixing ka doran thora thora ker ka dry flour mixture aur butter milk alternatively daltay jayein aur smooth batter hunay tak beat kertay rahein.
-8” inch baking pan ko cooking oil sa grease karein aur butter paper laga lein.
-Baking soda mein sirka dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur tayyar cake ka mixture mein foran dal ker spatula ki madad sa ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Ab cake ka batter ko tayyar baking pan mein dal dein.
-Preheated oven mein 200 C per 35-40 minutes kliya bake ker lein.
-Cake ko oven mein sa bahir nikal lein aur knife ki madad sa edges ko lose ker lein.
-Cake ko wire rack per rakh ker thanda ker lein.
Cream cheese Frosting:
-Bowl mein makhan dal dein aur fluffy hunay tak beat ker lein.
-Thora thora ker ka icing sugar shamil kertay jayein aur beat ker lein.
-Vanilla essence dal ker dubara beat ker lein.
-Cream cheese dal dein aur smooth hunay tak beat karein aur istamal kernay tak refrigerate ker lein.
Assembling:
-Cake knife ki madad sa cake ko do horizontally layers mein cut ker lein.
-Cake tray per cake ki layer rakh dein aur frosting laga lein.
-Cake ki dosri layer rakh dein aur cakes ki sides ko frosting sa cover ker lein.
-Decorate ker ka serve karein.
