A mum has shared how she created easy and effective looking Christmas lollipops using $2 pool noodles  from Kmart and $3 tape.
Sylwia Pountney from Australia, posted the decorations online and received more than 2000 likes and comments from others who praised the savvy idea.
To create the Christmas lollipops she first wrapped a red pool noodle evenly with white tape to create a candy cane inspired design.

Then Sylwia wrapped the red and white pool noodle into a round shape using hot glue and gorilla glue from Bunnings Warehouse.
Once the noodle was rolled to resemble a peppermint lollipop she tied it together to let it set overnight.
The next day once completely dry she attached a PVC pipe from Bunnings Warehouse into the base of the pool noodle lollipop.
To finish she wrapped the festive lollipop in cellophane to create a “wrapper” effect and tied it together with a red and white string to form a bow
