Aloo Dum Biryani
Serves 5-6
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Aloo (Potatoes) peeled ½ kg small
-Zarda ka rang (Yellow food color) 1/4 tsp
-Cooking oil 2-3 tbs
-Namak (Salt) 1 pinch
-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 1 Cup
-Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) ½ tbs or to taste
-Knorr chicken powder 1 sachet (10 gms)
-Garam masala powder 1 tsp
-Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
-Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tbs
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
-Jaifil & Javatri powder (Nutmeg & Mace powder) 1/4 tsp
-Lemon juice 2 tbs
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) ½ tbs
-Hari mirch (Green chilies) crushed 2 tbs
-Pyaz (Onion) fried ½ Cup
-Cooking oil 1/4 Cup
-Podina (Mint leaves) chopped ½ Cup
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped ½ Cup
-Pyaz (Onion) fried ½ Cup
-Chawal (Rice) basmati ½ kg (boiled until 3/4th done)
-Knorr chicken powder 1 sachet (10 gms)
-Ghee 1 & ½ tbs
-Pani (Water) 1-2 tbs
-Zarda ka rang (Yellow food color) ½ tsp or as required
-Pyaz (Onion) fried

Directions:
-In bowl,add potatoes,yellow food color,mix well & set aside.
-In wok,add cooking oil,potatoes,sprinkle salt and fry until golden brown (12-15 minutes) & set aside.
-In bowl,add yogurt,red chili powder,chicken powder,garam masala powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,salt,nutmeg & mace powder,lemon juice,ginger garlic paste,green chili,fried onion,mix well & set aside.
-In pot,add cooking oil,spiced yogurt and mix well.
-Add fried potatoes,mint leaves,fresh coriander,fried onion,boiled rice,chicken powder and ghee.
-In water,add yellow food color.
-Add dissolve food color,fried onion,cover and steam cook for 10-15 minutes & serve!

-Bowl mein aloo aur zarda ka rang dal ker ache tarhan mix karein & side per rakh dein.
-Karhai mein cooking oil,aloo aur namak dal dein aur golden brown hunay tak fry ker lein (12-15 minutes) & side per rakh dein.
-Bowl mein dahi,lal mirch powder,chicken powder,garam masala powder,haldee powder,dhania powder,namak,jaifil & javatri powder,lemon juice,adrak lehsan paste,hari mirch aur fried pyaz dal ker ache tarhan mix karein & side per rakh dein.
-Pot mein cooking oil aur spiced dahi shamil karein aur ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Fried aloo,podina,hara dhania,fried pyaz,boiled chawal,chicken powder aur ghee dal dein.
-Pani mein zarda ka rang dal ker mix karein.
-Dissolve zarda ka rang aur fried pyaz dal dein aur dhak ker 10-15 minutes kliya steam cook ker lein & serve karein.
