Here at TheRichest, we’re by no means anti-trend. We love trends and often make them the focus of our videos. However, sometimes trends go on for too long or the fans become too obsessive. Pumpkin spice is one of these. This unique flavor/scent took off in the mid-2000s when Starbucks released their pumpkin spice latte. By the late 2000s, many different food products began adopting the pumpkin spice flavor. As time progressed, this concept was being applied to non-food items: bizarre novelty products that hopped on the pumpkin spice bandwagon to increase sales. Today, there are pumpkin spice car detailing polish, pumpkin spice deodorant, pumpkin spice dog treats, and even pumpkin spice toothpaste. The absurdity of pumpkin spice popularity is so well-established that it’s inspired a series of memes in which normal products are photoshopped as pumpkin spice versions. When it comes to pumpkin spice, it’s sometimes hard to distinguish the reality from the parody, but the following products are all real and are all wacky.
